Compared with 4G Volte, 5G Vonr has a higher call quality, lower delay, keeping 5G data online when enjoying HD calls, can further enhance the user's experience.
This technology does not need to use 4G and other networks to perform voice calls, directly using the 5G SA network for Vonr protocol calls. Vonr in 5G SA mode is based on pure 5G access, voice service and data services are carried by 5G network, not dependent on 4G, and is a 5G mature development period target speech solution.
What is worth paying attention is that China Mobile pointed out in the white paper in March this year, from October 1, 2021, China Mobile Purchasing New 5G terminal must support VoNR.
